It’s an exciting day…you’re bringing home that puppy for the first time…you introduce him to your friends and family and they all say: “He’s got big paws, he’s going to be a big dog!” That’s what happened with my last three puppies and I’m sure I’ll hear it again. In fact, my dogs did end up being on the large side, but it takes a little bit of time before they get those enormous feet.
Case in point is this picture I recently came across. Take a look:

That’s a mommy and her puppy. I think you can tell that first, the puppy’s paws are small and second the puppy will eventually have large paws. Yikes! now that’s a big different in paw size. Can you guess what kind of canine this is? I’ll make it a little simpler for you. take a look at this picture:

Do you know now? That’s mommy with her pups…they are Newfoundlands a fantastic breed that can grow in excess of 100 pounds. now those are big paws and a big dog.
I came across the puppy paw photos and thought it was too lovable not to post. I hope you enjoy!
